St Philip's Episcopal Church

Welcome | Worship | Witness

Sunday Worship - 10:00 am

We Welcome You

At St Philip's Episcopal Church, we know that inspiration opens hearts. An open heart is an open mind and an open mind is one that can be a part of the Episcopal branch of the Jesus Movement. In our worship of God's glory, it is our belief that He is present in all of us, but His active presence can only be felt through faith in Him. We are dedicated to the service of God and all His people, and our goal is to inspire others through the liturgy in action. "One Christian is no Christian," so we invite you to become a part of our growing congregation.

No matter who you are or what you believe, there is a place for you here.

All are welcome!

Weekly Worship

Welcome to St. Philip's, where you'll find a welcoming and vibrant community rooted in liturgy and the Eucharist. As a part of the Episcopal Church, our worship is guided by the cherished Book of Common Prayer.

At the heart of our gatherings is the celebration of the Eucharist. We extend an open invitation to all baptized Christians to join us in receiving communion.

Join us for our Sunday morning service in person or online via our YouTube Channel or Facebook page. All are invited to be a part of our inclusive and loving community at St. Philip's!

Sunday Worship

10:00 am - In-person and Online

As Episcopalians, we honor our rich liturgical tradition every Sunday. We typically celebrate with Holy Eucharist: Rite II and hymns. During special times like Christmas and Easter, we elevate our worship with sung Eucharist. In Lent, we observe with Holy Eucharist: Rite I.

Praying Together

The Mission Statement

To proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to the heart of Jacksonville through Welcoming, Worship & Witnessing.

We are a community of faith that makes visible God’s presence. We see our church not simply as a house of worship with walls, a roof and open doors. Rather, we believe that the church is actually the members and believers that come together to practice God’s word, celebrate His love and extend His gifts through that community.

Through the prayer book and service, we bring God closer to our hearts and closer to the hearts of those around us. From traditional sermons to participation in our ministries and events — everything we do is based on commitment to live the life God calls us to and spread the teachings of our Lord.
